We will be purchasing a high-performance heterogeneous parallel machine for experiments with parallel computing.
The machine will have a large amount of memory, processors and accelerators like GPUs and FPGAs.
The machine will be acquired within the Multiuser Equipment Program (EMU),
which aims to support the acquisition of equipment for research that cannot, ordinarily,
be acquired in Regular Research Grants or Thematic Projects.
The EMU Program can also support, when necessary, the costs for supplies and services
necessary for the installation and operation of the requested Multi-User Equipment.

The Users Committe is composed by the IME-USP professors Alfredo Goldman, Roberto Hirata, and Pedro Peixoto.
